Nice decorative antique newel post. Has a medium painted wood grain finish.  Has a very nice urn top final. It is a salvaged piece so expect to find nails, nail holes, and small chunks missing. scuffs and scratches. The post is not solid, its hollow center. Overall good solid condition.
