The rivet or Chicago screw holes are punched for you....1 ½ inch from the end with the second hole 2 1/2 inches from the end....the best distances to prevent the ends from curling up. Straps cut from 9-10 oz. veg tanned hides that are finished and made specifically to be used as bag straps with smooth finished backs, non-transferable dyes and a satin finish.
