vintage mens chicago roller skate dress shoe with case and accessories. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail. These are very heavy skates/shoes and with the metal case even heavier. Before boxes they weigh nearly 12 pounds. I don’t know much about them other than they are very old. I purchased at an estate sale and the woman said they were her 97 year old father’s skates when he was a young man. They have some extra accessories shown in the box. The box is very worn super scuffed and just been through a lot the last century haha. It does have a name painted on it on a couple of the sides of the vase. That same name is etched in the metal on the bottom of the skates also in several places on each skate. RM and R. Milburn. The wheels say Chicago as well as the skate plate that attaches to the dress shoe. The dress shoe has a metal plate that allows the skate to clip onto it. You pull the lever to release the plate and the toe area of the shoe slides out. The shoes look like they might say “the Booth Shoe” or something like that imprinted inside. They are very worn and need cleaned but for their age I think they’re magnificent. I do not know what size they are. Please see all photos and know they are very worn and have lots of wear and tear and scuffs but they are intact and attach and come apart with ease. Please also see shipping before bidding. I do not have a key for the center closure that has a lock and keyhole; so I have only been closing the side latches as I didn’t want to accidentally lock it by fastening the center latch.
